NWO Well Services

Our story is one of evolution and community within the Northwestern Ontario landscape. It began with Campbell & Fraser, who employed and taught Jack MacAskill the water well trade. Jack eventually took over the legacy as the owner and operator of Fraser Water Wells (1994). I founded NWO Well Services originally as a geotechnical and environmental firm in 2010, but when Fraser (1994) closed its doors in 2014, NWO stepped in to carry forward that multi-generational expertise in well construction and maintenance.

As our company grew, we acquired Superior Systems and established Aegis Group as a specialized roadside services firm to bid on government and industrial projects. Today, those operations have been largely wrapped directly into the NWO Well Services brand, centering our focus on the potable water industry. Mad Jack’s Well Shack was created in 2019 as the final piece of the puzzle—a direct response to discerning DIY customers who wanted access to the same professional-grade pumps, filters, and parts we use in the field, shipped anywhere Canada Post delivers.

We currently employ over a dozen career employees, remain 100% locally owned, and make every effort to support our overall community of Northwestern Ontario both directly and indirectly.
